Created in 1991, the Foundation Aerovision Quebec was created to generate an awareness of the exceptional contribution of the Province of Quebec has made to the conquest of the air. This is to be achieved by fostering the implementation of the Quebec Air and Space Museum and Hall of Fame. Planned in Saint-Hubert (near Montreal, Canada), the site will be devoted to the preservation of the aeronautical heritage of Quebec, as well as that of the pioneers and heroes of our aviation history. We hope to announce its opening in the near future. VolunteersFoundation Aerovision Quebec is a non profit organization. At this moment, we count 300 members, friends, collaborators and partners. Foundation Aerovision Quebec Our LogoOur logo distinguishes itself by the representation of a male and a female aviator; Mr. Jean-Marie Landry along with his wife, born Hervina Bienvenue. Mr. Landry was the first francophone Quebecer to receive a pilot’s licence, in 1914 in France. This unique concept wishes to underline the major contribution of all Quebecers, men and women, our Quebec air and space heritage. |
